She developed a love of sports from a very early age. She played at different levels in both school and college however, she ultimately decided to become a television broadcaster. Taft has graduated from Boston University in broadcast journalism with a major in reports on sports and regional ties she began her broadcasting career at Fox Sports North. In addition to covering sports, Taft was also a social media journalists and filling the gaps for a variety of games.
